One of the CSRA’s biggest sporting events is coming back! IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta brings thousands of athletes, families, volunteers, and spectators to the area for an exciting weekend of competition and community spirit.

🏊 What is IRONMAN 70.3?

The race is a 70.3-mile triathlon consisting of:

• 1.2-mile swim in the Savannah River
• 56-mile bike ride through the CSRA
• 13.1-mile run through Augusta and along the riverfront

The race finishes in downtown Augusta, making it a great event for spectators.

📅 Race Weekend

While the main race takes place on Sunday, September 27, activities begin earlier in the weekend, including the IRONMAN Expo and athlete events.
