• Location: Downtown Augusta

Part 1: The Augusta Christmas Parade

The excitement starts in the early afternoon with the annual parade.

• Time: 1:00 PM

• Location: Parade begins near 11th Street & Reynolds Street, proceeding through downtown.

• Features: Festive floats, community groups, local marching bands, and an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

• Charity Partner: The parade is presented in partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta. Proceeds help families of critically ill children.

Part 2: Light Up Spectacular

Following the parade, join us at the Commons for family activities leading up to the main event.

• Time: Festivities begin at 4:00 PM.

• Location: Augusta Commons (836 Reynolds Street).

Activities (Starting 4:00 PM):

• Meet & Greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

• Live Performances by local bands and choirs.

• Children's Activities, including cookie decorating and holiday crafts.

• Food and Drink vendors on site.

• Announcement of the Mayor's Christmas Card Contest winner.

The Tree Lighting & Fireworks

• Time: Approximately 6:00 PM (at dusk).

• The evening concludes with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, followed by a festive fireworks show.
